My sister and I recently lost our mother. Our mom always spoke very highly of Vander Plaat-Vermuulen. She had specifically requested that we use them when she goes. I'm glad she did. They are such nice people, caring and compassionate. Highly recommended. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would give 10!

When our father, Kevin, passed away suddenly last month, Nick and his staff helped guide us through the difficult time and made the whole process as simple as possible. They took care of everything and treated us with compassion and kindness, which we greatly needed at the time. We love the online memorial that they made for dad and our ability to have trees planted in his memory. They’ve kept in contact with us since dads passing and we really appreciate all that they’ve done for us.

Jim and the entire staff made a very difficult transition seamless. They are warm, engaging, and conduct their business with the utmost professionalism. They have treated our family with kindness, respect and dignity and I am very thankful.

Jim, Nick and the staff were caring, provided clear guidance for us to work through the details of the funeral and did an excellent job preparing my mom for viewing. This s a great firm to work with.
